Amour Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Havant.
Working within the Finishing Department, you will play an important role in ensuring products are finished to a high cosmetic and quality standard. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with previous industrial wet paint spraying experience, who takes pride in producing a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare aluminium fabrications, acrylic components, motor/gearbox assemblies and other products for painting.
- Carry out cleaning, degreasing, sanding and masking.
- Mix primers, paints and hardeners to manufacturers' specifications.
- Apply wet paint using conventional, HVLP and pressure-fed spray equipment.
- Produce high-quality cosmetic finishes to customer specifications.
- Carry out quality checks and touch-up/repair work where required.
- Monitor coating thickness using DFT gauges.
- Prepare and apply powder coatings where required.
- Hang and balance components onto conveyor systems.
- Carry out colour changes, powder recovery and unloading of finished components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Assist with the operation and cleaning of powder coating equipment and curing ovens.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in industrial wet paint spraying.
- Experience painting fabricated metal products or industrial components.
- Experience using HVLP or conventional spray equipment.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to produce a high-quality cosmetic finish.
- Good knowledge of paint preparation and surface finishing.
- The ability to follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Previous powder coating experience would be advantageous.

£17.00 per hour
