Amour Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a well-established operation based in Fareham.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking Class 2 Drivers looking for a Monday to Friday role, with a consistent working week and the opportunity to become part of a friendly and professional team.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to a variety of customers and locations across the local area and surrounding regions.

This is a hands-on delivery role, and drivers should be comfortable with manual handling. Around 90% of the products delivered require some level of manual handling, with goods often being hand-balled from the vehicle.

Deliveries can include:

• Shops and commercial premises
• Lock-ups and storage locations
• Private addresses
• Trade and customer premises
• Locations where carpet fitters operate from home

This isn't simply a kerbside delivery position. You will be expected to safely handle goods and assist with getting deliveries into the required location wherever reasonably possible.

You will be provided with equipment to help make deliveries as safe and manageable as possible, and full support will be given to drivers joining the team.
