Amour Recruitment is seeking a Transport Operations Coordinator to work for a fantastic logistics company based in Gosport.
You will work closely with planners, hauliers and operational teams to track loads, manage operational issues and maintain strong communication with customers while supporting service excellence and performance across the transport network.
Duties include:
• Supporting day-to-day transport operations through close collaboration with planning teams and hauliers
• Tracking loads and proactively managing delays, risks and operational issues
• Managing transport documentation to ensure accuracy and operational visibility
• Acting as a key contact for customers, providing updates and resolving service queries
• Assisting with trailer and vehicle compliance processes including defect reporting and maintenance tracking
Personal requirements:
• Experience within transport, logistics or traffic operations environments
• Understanding of haulage processes, trailer management and transport coordination
• Strong administration skills with high attention to detail
• Confident IT user, experience with transport or tracking systems desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with customers, planners and operational teams
Hours: Monday to Friday 0700-1600
Salary: £29,000
