We are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Havant in their search for a Senior Production Team Leader to join their shop floor operation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dependable individual to step into a key role within a large and dynamic workforce of approximately 200 employees.
This position has initially been created on a temporary basis, with the potential to extend through to the end of the year and beyond, subject to business needs.
The Role:
As a Senior Production Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations while helping to drive performance, morale, and engagement across the shop floor. You will provide direction to team members, ensure processes are followed efficiently, and champion a strong culture of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear leadership and direction to production teams
- Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety
- Support structured processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as a reliable and proactive point of support for team members
- Contribute positively to team morale and working environment
- Assist in developing team capability and encouraging progression
About You:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices
- Process-driven with excellent organisational skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
- Able to motivate and engage teams effectively
- Backgrounds in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, or even hospitality (where long hours and team leadership are common) will be considered

Mon to Friday - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 + Shift Allowance (OTE £40,000 – £45,000)
