Amour Recruitment is seeking Logistics Operatives to work for a company based in Portsmouth.
This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract and would suit someone who is available to start immediately.
Duties include:
- Carrying out goods-in duties, including inspecting incoming deliveries for damage, defects, and compliance with purchase orders.
- Checking outbound shipments to ensure correct quantities, labelling, and packing standards are met.
- Picking stock for dispatch, checking inventory, and packing goods ready for shipping.
- Asset tagging new customer stock prior to storage in the warehouse.
- Carrying out other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Senior Management Team.
Personal requirements:
- Understanding of health and safety risks within a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexibly and undertake a variety of tasks.
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods (no heavy lifting required).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Hours - Monday to Friday- 09:00 – 17:30
Salary - £13.00 per hour
