Amour Recruitment is seeking a Billing Analyst to work for a fantastic company based in Portsmouth.
This role is offered as hybrid, but you must be in a commutable distance to the office if you need to go in at short notice.
Working with the Delivery & Operations team, the core purpose is to ensure accurate and timely billing for services-related projects and to manage purchase order (PO) creation for passthrough projects and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the billing process for multiple business areas
- Create new projects/orders, process invoices, and close them when complete.
- Keep the Billing Tracker up to date with all invoices and purchase orders.
- Send invoices to customers directly or upload them to platforms
- Work with Credit Control to manage remittance advices and resolve billing queries.
- Raise purchase orders (POs) for passthrough projects and contractors.
- Maintain and update process documentation to ensure continuity and compliance.
Personal requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Strong IT skills- in particular Excel.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain complete and accurate records
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1730
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 – 25 days holiday, great pension scheme, health care plus much more!
