Electrical Service Engineer - Havant

Amour Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for Electrical Service Engineers on behalf of our client based in Havant.

In this varied role, you'll support the testing and maintenance of specialist technical equipment throughout the South of England.

This role is varied, and the range of equipment you may support across is vast, and a great opportunity to diversify your skillset.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out service maintenance, testing and repairs of specialist technical equipment and systems.
  • Carry out testing of equipment, writing appropriate reports and escalating work to management when needed,
  • Support teams across installations of equipment, where necessary..
  • Support with the planning, assignment and scheduling of work across the wider team.
  • Demonstrate/train customers on safe practice and utilisation of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining critical power equipment, such as generators, UPS, batteries, and switchgear.
  • NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot electrical faults effectively.
  • Ability to carry out electrical testing, inspections, and complete certification documentation accurately.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and occasional overnight stays.

Hours: 40 hours per week between 8:00-18:00 (Flexible)

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE
