Amour Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, on behalf of our wonderful client based in Portsmouth.
In this exciting role, you'll support the day to day supporting of children, from the ages of 3-months all the way to 3 years old.
You'll support with all areas of support, from day to day toileting, cleaning and feeding, to enrichment activities and teaching.
This position will be spread across 4 days, Monday to Friday, working a total of up to 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 3 years
- Support children’s daily routines, including feeding, toileting, nappy changing, and sleep schedules
- Create a warm, safe and stimulating environment that encourages learning and development
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Observe, track and document children’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Requirements:
- A full and valid Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within an early years or nursery environment
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- A genuine passion for early years education and supporting young children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to use initiative and manage daily tasks effectively
- Up‑to‑date DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Hours: 8:00-18:00 Monday to Friday (Shift pattern, 4 days per week)
Pay: £12.74 to 13.24 per hour depending on experience
