Amour Recruitment are excited to be recruiting an experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant for our lovely client just outside Portsmouth.
In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting children aged 3 months to 3 years, helping with their day-to-day care and development. From feeding, nappy changing, and supporting routines, to planning fun and educational activities, you’ll make a real difference to children’s early learning experiences.
Hours: 4 days per week (Monday–Friday), up to 37.5 hours, 08:00–18:00
Pay: £12.74–£13.24 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for babies and toddlers
- Support daily routines: feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and sleep
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities to support development
- Observe, track, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- Passion for supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to use your own initiative and manage daily tasks
- Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
