EA to CEO - Portsmouth

Amour Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to work for the CEO of a fantastic organisation based in Portsmouth.

If you can demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in all your dealings, be trustworthy with the ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters and have worked previously at Director/Management level this could be the ideal role for you!

Duties include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact on all matters relating to the CEO, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
  • Work closely with the CEO acting as their ambassador and personal representative when required with confidence.
  • Keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately, and adjusting the programme as necessary to maximise their time and resources.
  • Anticipate CEO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Be the "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and staff, maintaining credibility, trust, and support with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Co-ordinate all the CEO’s travel arrangements when required.

Personal requirements:

  • Previous executive experience is essential
  • Strong IT skills including MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible with the demands of the role

Hours: Fulltime Monday to Friday – can be offered as hybrid working.

Salary: up to £40,000 depending on experience etc.
