Amour Recruitment are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our clients team in the Chichester area on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right person.
We need someone who can hit the ground running and help with a range of warehouse duties.
The Role
- Unloading incoming containers
- Loading and unloading goods
- Stacking and moving pallets
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- General warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse organised and tidy
- Working as part of a busy team
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
37.5 hours per week
Breaks include:
- 2 x 15-minute unpaid breaks
- 1 x 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to safety and following workplace procedures
Ideally, candidates will also hold one or more of the following licences:
- Order Picker / Man-Up licence
- Flexi / Narrow Aisle (Cherry Picker) licence
Pay & Progression
- £13.25 per hour to start for candidates with a Counterbalance FLT licence
- After 2 weeks, candidates who demonstrate that they are reliable, hardworking and a good fit for the team may have their pay increased to up to £14.00 per hour
- For the right person, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent
