Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to work for fantastic company based in Portsmouth.
You will be working with the company’s own fleet as well as 3rd Party hauliers to maximise and manage the routing.
Duties include:
- Efficiently route plan driver’s routes on a UK wide scale.
- Ensure the drivers and fleet are in alignment with WTD & DVSA legal requirements.
- Deal with driver’s infringements, investigations and accidents.
- Work with the Transport Manager on compliance and operational movements within the business.
- Utilise 3rd Parties to secure loads to optimise revenue on vehicles
Personal requirements:
- Knowledge of WTD, Tacho Data and drivers’ legal compliance
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- 2 Years' experience as a Transport Planner
- CPC Preferable
Hours: Monday to Friday 0830 -1730 plus overtime
Salary: £28,000 -£32,000
