Amour Recruitment are looking for a motivated and organised Network Coordinator / Transport Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced transport office based in Portsmouth.

In this key position, you’ll help coordinate the daily operation of pallet network collections and deliveries, ensuring everything runs smoothly between depots, drivers, and customers. You’ll need to be proactive, detail-focused, and confident in handling calls, solving problems, and keeping things moving efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in transport or logistics administration who’s looking to join a supportive and professional environment where every day is different.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient service to customers, depots, and drivers

  • Handle and resolve delivery and collection queries promptly and accurately

  • Book jobs and update details using bespoke IT systems

  • Coordinate routes and driver schedules to ensure on-time deliveries and collections

  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and transport legislation

  • Communicate effectively across teams and support colleagues in a collaborative environment


What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a transport, logistics, or distribution environment (essential)

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Fully computer literate and comfortable using bespoke software

  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, stay calm under pressure, and maintain attention to detail

  • A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider team


What’s on Offer

  • £27,810 per annum, with a pay review early next year

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm (1-hour lunch)

  • 1 in 4 Saturdays working from home (usually just a few hours of remote monitoring)
