Enterprise Hardware Engineer – Portsmouth (Field-Based Role)

Amour Recruitment is delighted to be working with a fantastic Portsmouth-based client who’s looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Enterprise Hardware Engineer to join their growing team.
In this exciting role, you’ll be helping to design and install tailored IT solutions for a wide range of clients across the UK — no two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a team that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing bespoke IT packages to meet client specifications
- Building IT systems to spec — including servers, racking, networks, and security setups
- Travelling to client sites to support installations and ensure everything runs smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Hands-on experience with IT hardware (ideally 3+ years)
- Familiarity with SCCM and CMCB systems
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude
- Someone who enjoys building IT solutions and has a background in IT support
