As the Transport Planner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of deliveries and collections throughout the UK. From planning and scheduling to coordinating with customers and internal staff, you’ll keep everything moving efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee daily logistics to meet customer requirements.
- Have an eye for detail and be able to adapt to last minute changes.
- The ability to handle pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Optimise schedules, and resources to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with customers and drivers to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Experience
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in logistics and planning is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, flexible, and solution-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Package
- Salary £40k - £45k
