Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for fantastic company based in Southampton.
This role is offered as hybrid and is a 6-month FTC to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting tasks, such as posting supplier invoices, making supplier payments and posting month end journals
Duties include:
- Posting purchase invoices
- Dealing with supplier’s queries on an as needs basis
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Posting month end journals
- Cash book postings and bank reconciliation
Personal requirements:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Previous accounts experience is a must
- Experience of Continia or using an expense tracking app would be a distinct advantage
- IT Literate, Microsoft Dynamics Navision would also be desirable.
Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 1630
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000
