Amour Recruitment are currently recruiting reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a busy, well-established logistics operation in the Portsmouth area.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

Completing scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.

Loading and unloading goods at customer premises and depot locations.

Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.

Using handheld devices to update delivery and collection information.
-
Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Communicating with the transport team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.

Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
-
Following all relevant road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
Pay & Working Hours
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:

A valid UK driving licence with Category C1 (7.5-tonne) entitlement.

A valid Driver CPC qualification.
-
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
-
Good communication and customer service skills.
-
The ability to undertake regular manual handling and loading/unloading duties.

A good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
