As a Service Engineer you will play a pivotal role in completing service work on power equipment, including maintenance, fault finding and servicing across the Sussex and Kent area. This is a great role for someone with previous experience within a similar role and a background in power equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out service and maintenance on power equipment and any associated electrical/mechanical equipment, including fault finding, testing, and repairing
- Carrying out site surveys, investigations and inspections
- Carrying out installation and commissioning
- Installing temporary hire equipment including on customer sites
- Planning, assigning and scheduling on-site work of electricians, trade helpers and apprentices engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair
- Carrying out detailed reports for remedial work including materials and resources
Personal Requirements:
- Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience as a service engineer
