Amour Recruitment are working with a leading BPO business who have a number of high profile clients in the Utility sector.  We are seeking a Sales Coach to assist in the delivery of support, training, development, and guidance for sales professionals to work for our well-established client based in Portsmouth.

Hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1730.

Salary £22,000 plus benefits

Overall objective

You will be responsible for delivering clients sales volume through effective 1:1 session’s, group coaching and progressive programmes improving the activities of sales professionals as a whole.

You will analyse, identify and deploy appropriate plans and initiatives linked to raising standards, increasing sales performance, retention of workforce and employee engagement. Present findings on activity and outcomes linked to maximising the client’s profitability and actively work to improve the overall quality of work completed by sales professionals.

Our client requires someone who has previous experience within Sales / Coaching / Management roles, outbound sales environments and a proven track record of delivering performance through coaching.

Core responsibilities of the role:-

Targets/Service Levels – To develop and coach individuals to deliver ongoing improvement of sales targets, through education, nurturing and coaching.

Development – Work with the Operations Manager and Team Manager to identify strengths and weaknesses with each individual to provide ongoing training and coaching. Sound knowledge and experience of coaching models such as GROW and SWOT would be key.

Teamwork – To support the Team Managers maintaining close working relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the team objectives and sales targets.

Strategic Analysis and Reporting – To work with Operations and Team Manager to analyse sales performance, then utilising the information to put together the appropriate coaching and development for each individual aligned to tangible, SMART measurements of success. • Training Needs Analysis – To work with Operations Manager and Team Manager to carry out, and report, regular team training needs analysis, identifying individual and team training needs and actioning SMART recommendations.

Sales Performance Feedback – To provide ongoing BOOST feedback on the quality of the SP’s performance to both the individuals and the Management Team.

Sales Performance Tracking – Experience in effective documentation to support performance management/HR related activity.

Operator Recruitment Feedback – To provide feedback to Operations Manager on individuals skill level to aid in our recruitment selection, ensuring the correct skill sets are recruited to deliver the targets, recognise success, what works and modelling of excellence in the workplace.

Product Champion – To be the product champion ensuring that the SP’s have an up to date and comprehensive level of product knowledge, how to apply this in effective conversation and present to customers in an engaging way, example: Feel Felt Found Model (or similar).

Development – Design coaching sessions, role-playing activities, and training courses to assist SP’s develop.

Shadowing – Establish training needs via observations, management feedback, studying sales performance and reports.

Market Knowledge – Stay up to date with market trends and demands for the sales environment, be adaptable.
