Manufacturing Engineer - Fareham

Amour Recruitment are proud to be working with a fantastic client in Fareham who are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is currently being offered as a 9 month FTC to cover maternity leave but could become a permanent position. 

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with department managers and able to indentify cost saving and plant improvements
• Actively supporting the customer specific teams and resolving issues in a timely manner and indentifying any areas of process improvements 
• Working with the launch team and SDS process and ensuring a smooth handover
• Maintaining ISO45001 status and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Carrying out all relevant documentation including reports and processes during product development or improvement activities
• Monitoring KPIs and ensuring that targets are achieved

Personal Requirements:

• Must have a HNC/HND in a related subject
• CAD knowledge and experience (able to carry out design modifications) 
• Previous experience in the field or similar position
• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing Methods, OEE, 5S
• Full UK Driving Licence
