We are looking for an experienced Service Receptionist with an interest and knowledge within the Commercial sector. Must have excellent telephone manner and computer skills, experience in our automotive industry would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be working within the Service Team and also working with the Workshop Controller and Aftermarket Manager.
This is a busy and challenging role and covers a wide range of duties to include, whilst the list is extensive, it is not exhaustive:

Duties to include:
• Meet and greet customers
• Answer all incoming telephone calls and direct to the correct person after fully establishing the caller’s requirements and who is the best person to assist
• Liaise with colleagues to notify them of work arriving and waiting to be commenced
• Issuing and controlling all courtesy vehicle fleet and customer insurance documentation
• Job card creation
• Obtaining Start up order numbers
• Updating work costs during repairs with the customer
• Obtaining final order numbers
• Maintaining Job card filing system once all work complete
• Process and check retail invoice costing including texting of jobs to invoice standard
• Ensure all keys passed through reception are correctly tagged with vehicle registration
• Day to day management of Service Reception area, this will include the Driver’s Waiting Room, ensuring areas are kept orderly, clean and tidy
• Promote robust business practices and robust customer relationships, being proactive to not only retain but develop customer base
• Other duties at Management request
As based in the Service Reception area, company uniform will be provided.

Salary Range:
£22,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience

Basic Hours:
8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive with ½ an hour unpaid lunch. Every third Saturday 8.00 am to 12.00 noon

Last working day of the month:
There is a requirement for a later finish to ensure all jobs are processed and invoiced

Other:
Holiday: 20 days annual + Bank Holiday’s (pro rate in first year). Holiday increases with time served. Nest pension scheme
6 month performance review.
