Amour Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic company who are seeking a CNC Programmer to join their well established team in Fareham.As a programmer you will be working on small batches, prototypes and one offs as well as programming a range of CNC machines including 3 and 5 axis. This would be an ideal role for someone with previous experience as a programmer ,who has great problem solving skills and able to produce components to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- 3 and 5 Axis CNC Milling
- CNC Turning
- Manual milling and turning
- Producing high quality injection mould tooling and components
- Manufacturing jigs and fixtures
- Producing job sheets and work instructions as well as modifying injection mould tools
- Using CAD to design models from scratch and modify existing 2D and 3D CAD models
- Online and offline CAM programming (Heidenhain & Siemens )
- Wire EDM
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations
Personal Requirements:
- Experience with 3 and 5 Axis CNC Machining
- Qualifications such as HNC, HND or relevant experience is desirable
- Knowledge of Heidenhain and Siemen controls
- Experienced in working with a variety of metals
- Knowledge in programming software
