Amour Recruitment are proud to be working with a fantastic client based in Portsmouth who are seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to join their team.
This role is an on going contract and would suit someone with previous experience within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Using all conventional machinery within the workshop to cut, machine and shape raw materials in accordance with the drawing requirements
- Building fixtures and holding devices
- Setting, loading and operating various machine tools including lathes, mills, cut-off saws and grinders
- Using best practice to meet drawing requirements in the most efficient time
- Using various hand tools as necessary to achieve finished requirements
- Assembling machined or fabricated components
Hours
Monday to Friday 07.00-16.30 / Overtime is available when required as well as weekend working. This is an on going contract - Umbrella £17-19ph.
