Amour Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively for our client based in Southampton who are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager.
The primary role would be to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, using digital channels, or any other smart means, to generate interest from potential clients.
You must be able to develop a rapport with new clients and deliver against set targets for sales. You will also be required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients when applicable.
Responsibilities
- Create new business opportunities
- Have targeted marketing campaigns to strategic markets
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Maintain existing client base and increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling
- Book and attend regular customer meetings that result in profitable relationships
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the sales team
- Present to and negotiate with director level
- Take personal responsibility for development and learning of skills and market/product knowledge
- Keeping CRM updated with all information at all time
- Ensure timely follow ups with all sales prospects in your funnel & push them through the different stages
- Closely work with the service delivery team to ensure a best in class delivery service
Experience required:
- At least three years working in a Business Development Manager capacity ideally within the telecoms industry or similar
- Preferably demonstrable knowledge of telecoms products
- Proven track record in sales – achieving and exceeding targets
- Confident and capable of seeking out and securing new business
- Networking and negotiating skills
Salary & benefits
- £27,000 - £32,000. OTE £60,000
- Car allowance
