Amour Recruitment is seeking an Archivist/Legal Cashier to work with a great firm of Solicitors based in Chichester.
We are looking for someone who has genuine enthusiasm and motivation with an aptitude for numbers and a keen eye for detail.
Duties Include:
- Archive files in accordance with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a client database in connection with archived files
- Liaise with fee earners, external storage, and secure shredding companies in relation to file collection, retrieval, and destruction.
- Processing financial transactions relating to client matters in a timely manner and in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
- Managing and reconciling supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms.
- Preparing payment runs, including BACS transfers and cheque payments.
- Processing petty cash and credit card expenditure.
Personal requirements:
- Previous experience working in a professional office preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Competent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Hours: 9 am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Salary: from £24,000 (salary negotiable for the right candidate)
