Role: Aluminum Fabricator
Salary: Up to £33,280 DOE
As an Aluminum Fabricator, you will be responsible for Fabricating and assembling architectural aluminum systems, including walling, windows, doors, and cladding. Your role will involve reading technical drawings, operating Machinery and ensuring the accurate fabrication of aluminum components. You will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality products and contribute to the success of the company.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand fabrication requirements.
- Operate and set up machinery and equipment such as CNC machining center's, pneumatic crimpers, compound saws, milling machines and CNC Double Mitre Saws.
- Cut, shape, and assemble aluminum profiles and components according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address fabrication issues and modifications.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and manage material inventory for production needs.
- Assist in training development of junior fabricators.
- Adhere to project timelines and production schedules to meet client deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication-related problems during production.
- Seek opportunities for process improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and other departments.
- Previous experience in Aluminum Fabrication, preferably in commercial architectural systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with operating machinery and equipment used in aluminum fabrication.
- Knowledge of aluminum profiles, components and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Commitment to safety and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
