Warehouse Administrator – Derby

Reporting to the Depot Manager working in a small team providing warehouse (picking/FLT/stock management)  and administration (entering order details into our warehouse management system, and booking transport) duties to a key client

Location: Derby

Responsible to: Depot Manager

The Role:

•             Processing client orders accurately through the warehouse management systems

•             Picking orders – boxes up to 15kg

•             Despatching orders via carrier management systems

•             Liaising with a demanding client via email and telephone

•             Receiving and booking in deliveries

•             Inventory management- weekly stock counts and stock rotation

•             Re packing orders

•             Maintaining a clean and tidy environment

•             Other duties include covering warehouse and transport functions

 Skills and experience:

•             Previous warehouse and administration experience

•             WMS/Carrier management experience

•             Excellent customer services – must be able to build relationships internally and externally quickly

•             Able to multi task

•             Good IT skills

•             Good health and safety awareness

•             A fork lift licence (combi or counterbalance is preferable)

•             Own Transport

•             Ability to work on your own initiative and within a small team

•             Ability to think quickly and make decisions and problem solve

•             Full training will be given


Hours 40 per week, 30mins break (needs to be flexible to cover other areas of the operation, hours are between 0730-1800

£ 10.00 per hour


Mon-Fri overtime available
