The role will be responsible for delivering key market and portfolio analytics to drive strategic decision-making. This will necessitate a comprehensive understanding of the market trends and movement as well as the product portfolio and business metrics. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will produce forecasting analytics on a routine basis as well as ad-hoc assessments to support the business. • Implement and own internal processes to compile market data sources, and craft optimal communication methods to share insights with key stakeholders • Thoroughly assess business opportunities both qualitatively and quantitatively, evaluating strategic fit, industry competition and financial valuation and impact • Create keynote presentations for executive management covering new business opportunities, strategies, market assessment and financial modelling • Establish productive relationships with key players across the company to facilitate strategic analyses • Support new market research evaluations to help drive business strategy


  • Participate in defining products and roadmap projects
  • Provide insights into product usage to inform innovation or areas of weakness
  • Plan, Create, Own and Report accuracy of the Forecasting for High Volume SKU’s
  • Work closely with other product team members to help understand how you can provide data to power decision making
  • Be able to prioritize and handle multiple requests for information at any one time
  • Analyse large sets of data to discover metrics & insights using scripting languages
  • Create pipelines and dashboards to track & communicate metrics
  • Understanding of ~Supplier performance and how to measure, monitor & report.
  • Ability to understand margin chains and amend/update where necessary in line with market  
  • Share findings with leaders across the company to help drive the product roadmap
  • Scrutinise carrier freight costs ensuring maximum retention 
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills and experience, with ability to analyse and communicate implications of findings
  • Strong proficiency with analytical tools, Excel modelling,
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Successful in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities to deliver results under tight timelines
  • Experience presenting research findings to diverse audiences including executive management
  • Self-starter with an appetite for developing knowledge and skills

  • Strong communication skills to manage local and remote stakeholders in a distributed team
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data & Analytics technology
  • Solid experience and expertise across data integration and data management
  • Experience delivering data science programmes and managing a variety of stakeholders across distributed organisations, including assessing business value, data qualification and problem definition when onboarding new use cases
  • Strong communication / stakeholder management
  • Considers lifecycle aspects at product definition stage
  • More than 5 years professional work experience
  • Successful delivery record as Purchasing Manager / Product Manager ideally for a retail distribution environment
