Amour Recruitment have been engaged to recruit for a Senior Vice President for a global body which represents the Travel & Tourism private sector . Their memberships include over 170 CEOs, Chairmans and Presidents of the world’s leading Travel & Tourism companies from all geographies covering all industries. 
 
Report to: President and CEO 
Location: London
 
Overall Purpose: 
 
  • To execute on the Membership and growth Strategy on time and to budget. 
  • The strategy is centred on three key themes; Retention of members, Recruitment of new members and achieve an aggressive growth plan to triple the size of the organization.
  • Executive and deliver the 3 to 5-year plan to take the organization from 10M to 30M while at the same time retain existing members by providing the highest satisfaction of service, value and engagement.

OBJECTIVES 

1. MEMBER RECRUITMENT, INCOME AND COSTS 

1.1 Manage a revenue plan and a growth plan to triple the organization resources 
1.2. Deliver on aggressive goals to triple the size of the organization and the geographical reach and industry targets 
1.3. Deliver on sponsorship income target defined each year 
1.4. Deliver the membership numbers targets according to the business plan 
1.5. Execute the member engagement strategy to increase value to members and achieve 95% member satisfaction 
1.6. Effectively managed a team of individuals in different geographies and from different cultures to meet or exceed the plan 
1.7. Define and execute a strategy to position the value of their business at different levels within the member’s companies 
1.8. Support the process of global summit hosts invitations 
1.9. Support and oversee the regional or in-country member events to make sure they are providing value and according to the business priorities 
1.10. Define the member engagement plan to guarantee that it is at the core of the organization and the value provided is according to different member types 
1.11. Make sure a unique agenda is defined for each member according to his or her priorities, requirements and value 
1.12 Understand well all member needs, priorities and business of their organizations. 
1.13 Document and measure progress made towards tangible outcomes and successful relationships with members
 
2. MEMBER ENGAGEMENT 

2.1. Deliver and execute the plan to achieve 100% satisfaction of Members 
2.2. Introduce NPS survey and take the score to the target level 
2.3. Support the delivery of Executive Committee and AGM meetings 
2.4. Re-shape and propose new benefits for membership between categories 
2.5. Provide input on creation and encourage the use of Member Portal and Member App 
2.6 Coordinate the entire organizational plan and processes to deliver value to members 
2.7 Engage with members, C-suite and their teams to provide value to their organizations 
2.8 Conduct regional reviews and invite the key stakeholders from the business, ambassadors, Vice-chairs and others to meet achieve the plan 
2.9 Coordinate regional presence of the business and onboarding of new members. 

3. STRATEGIC MARKETS 

3.1. Deliver a market strategy for each of the top business Regions 
3.2. Manage all Regional Directors globally (China, Latam, North America, Europe, ME&A, Africa, etc) 
3.3. Select, enrol and Manage relationships with all Executive Ambassadors globally (North America, LATAM, China, ME&A, UK, EU, Rest of Europe, Japan) 
3.4. Own and manage external relationships with strategic travel associations globally 

4. COLLEAGUES 

4.1. Provide the tools and resources to the team to execute the plan and be successful 
4.2. Ensure all team members have career plans and training needed. 
4.3. Ensure to provide to the team an environment that foster teamwork and collaboration.
4.4 Be a team player with colleagues and within the organization
 
EDUCATION
Degree educated with major in Business / Marketing and Accountancy essential 
MBA desired
 
KNOWLEDGE 
Strategic thinker and Great communication skills 
Proven record to execute on a business plan and aggressive goals in a large corporate organisation. 
Travel / Tourism background and expertise.
 
SKILLS 

• A proven track record for public speaking 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proven Strategic Thinker with the ability to ensure the market plans are implemented on time. 
• Senior Leadership Experience. 
• Experience managing people in different geographies and cultures. 
• A proven track record for public speaking 
• Media trained and experience as a media spokesperson 
• Ability to travel 50% of the time. 
• Ability to develop and maintain a strong relationship. 
• Networking skills
