This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will form part of the Supply Chain department which currently consists of a team of Supply Chain Analysts, a Supply Chain Team Leader, a Production Planner and a Buyer. The successful candidate will have direct supervisory responsibility for the Buyer.
We are looking for someone with strong experience within manufacturing, where the experience will be end to end management of the supplier relationships, including researching, benchmarking, sourcing, leading negotiations, developing the supply chain, and undertaking audit assessments.
This role will also require travel throughout the UK and abroad for supplier visits when needed.
