Amour Recruitment is working with an extremely successful business  in their search for a Sales Manager who will drive the sales potential and presence of their business.

The successful candidate will build, lead, and direct a motivated Employer Engagement Team to plan and accomplish goals in contract starts, employer placements and into employment targets.

Typically this role will report to the Head of Apprenticeships but will also be expected to work with the Senior Management Team on implementing strategic plans and operational goals.

Responsible for expanding and maintaining key accounts, new business, developing and maximising key stakeholder relationships to capitalise on new opportunities for the business.

Basic salary up to £45K

Specific responsibilities:-

  • Accountable for the achievement of monthly performance profiles as agreed by the business across all contracts.
  • Accountable for monitoring the achievement of monthly KPIs, for your team regarding performance against contract specific KPI’s Including, forecasting, and monitoring income against agreed budget profiles.
  • Accountable for the on-going development of an employer engagement strategy focusing on new business development and identifying new priority sectors and geographic areas for all areas of contracted provision.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with current employment trends, sector research and government funding trends.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key employers, developing new business leads, identifying opportunities for effective promotion of all Programmes.
  • Responsible for building and managing a strong prospect pipeline: identifying, developing, and securing employer partnerships with substantial long-term potential.
  • Responsible for planning and attend relevant networking events to promote Itec and all our services.
  • Accountable for engaging with SMT colleagues about overall strategic direction and lead in providing expertise regarding the development of employer engagement strategy.
  • Accountable for conducting Monthly performance review and annual appraisals
  • Responsible for providing support to team members to ensure their continued development and effectiveness, including identification of any training required.
  • Accountable for monitoring team members absences and holidays.
  • Responsible for recruitment of departmental staff.

Essential experience is of the government funded landscape for pre- and post- employment funded programmes
