Amour Recruitment are delighted to be once again supporting a leading European-based workplace equipment supplier, this time with their search for a Sales & Customer Service Executive. This client have many years experience as a customer-focused specialist in their field and offer an impressive, wide-ranging product selection to their client base.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, either via email or telephone, and provide a consistently exceptional level of service at all times resulting in increased customer acquisition, retention and revenue. The position is based at the Blackwood site (Pen Y Fan industrial Estate) so candidates will need to have access to their own transport in order to get there.

Candidates will work Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Handle incoming interaction with customers using phone, email, and live chat
  • Recommend potential products or services to customers, actively promoting sales opportunities, creating quotes and proformas and scheduling a follow schedule designed to maximise sales
  • Open and maintain customer files by recording account information accurately in a timely manner on ERP system
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication, both internally and externally
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Take payment promptly in line with legal guidelines
  • Handle changes in policies or renewals
  • Interface between different departments
  • Support of the team and sales management
