Amour Recruitment are proud to be working with this well-established company who due to busy demands are seeking another Shift Co-ordinators who will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager by ensuring the effective performance of the shift in line with the Daily Production Plan.
Duties include:
- Work in partnership with other Shift Co-ordinators and other departments to ensure communication, information flow and that workflow is achieved effectively.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to site Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
- Act as a role model for safety behaviours and practices.
- Undertake initial investigation and reporting of accidents and incidents, providing a statement of facts to support the investigation process.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Lean initiatives.
- Ensure availability of suitably skilled labour to meet production requirements through the co-ordination of overtime, holiday and absence cover etc.
- Conduct Absence return to work interviews.
- Support the Maintenance team to ensure either planned or unplanned maintenance is carried out effectively.
- Attend and add value to the structure of daily production meetings.
The ideal candidates would ideally be educated to HNC level (or equivalent) in a technical discipline and preferably have manufacturing experience within a multi-process environment
Hours are an average of 40.25 hours per week (12-hour shift incorporates 30 mins unpaid break)
Salary £29,000 plus continuous shift allowance of £9,530
