Amour Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading Wealth Management company based in Central Bristol, who are in the process of building a brand new Digital Support Team. The role of Platform Operations Administrator is vital to the success of this team, providing triage support and initial training & guidance for internal stakeholders across the business.


The Role:

  • Impact assessing new platform functionality, understanding where it fits with the business needs (or not), overseeing UAT / QA, communicating the change to the business (including updates to processes) and ensuring the functionality is fully utilised
  • Support with the resolution of platform issues and complete root cause analysis
  • Provide technical / system training on the SS&C Platform and maintain training resources. This will include focused training.
  • Produce and manage any reports which cannot be automatically distributed or picked up when needed by the Hubs
  • To support the day to day running of the platform by; managing the queries that come from the platform provider for exception cases
  • Responsible for maintaining the process and control documentation for relevant procedures


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Customer outcome and service focused with Relationship management experience: supporting users with getting the most out of a technical solution and solving their problems proactively
  • Good industry knowledge of platform, customer service and financial planning best practice.
  • UAT and Release / Change Management experience.
  • Technical mind with a strong ability to quickly understand and communicate how systems work.
  • Technical training experience would be a plus
  • Strong product knowledge for investments and pensions with a good understanding of the administration process for these products.
  • Experience of enhancing existing processes for operational efficiency


This role is office based initially with the potential for hybrid working post-probation, pays up to £27,000 per annum with 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays. Hours of work will be 0900-1730 Monday-Friday.
