Amour Recruitment is pleased to be working with a family business, based in Bridgend, looking to expand the team with a Payroll Processor.

This role is working Monday to Thursday 9-5 – Fridays 9-3 hours, with the salary being £19,500

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up payroll schemes via HMRC.
  • Processing weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls for a wide variety of clients.
  • Actioning starter and leaver forms.
  • Processing and calculating all statuary payments, applying for SMP funding, etc.
  • Ensuring minimum wage legislation is adhered to.
  • Calculating holiday pay.
  • Setting up attachment of earnings, student loans and staff loans.
  • Calculating and processing redundancy payments where necessary.
  • Reconciling PAYE payments.
  • Reconciling PAYE accounts.
  • Running the payroll year end and issuing relevant forms, such as P60’s.
  • Payroll training where necessary.
  • Sage payroll knowledge would be essential
  • Up to date knowledge of pension and legislation
