Purpose of the Role:

Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presence, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue. To include keeping social media channels updated, seeking out new social media avenues & campaigns and ways of connecting with audiences.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Online:

  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new & emerging social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Manage the social media content for the directors
  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors
  • Manage social media communications
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits
  • Optimize content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)
  • Build mailing list of GDPR compliant contacts to market to
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns

Offline:

  • Creating presentations to use internally
  • Presentations for client visits
  • Generate brochures & marketing literature 
  • Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
  • Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Analyse and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Collaborate with industry thought leaders and experts on guest articles

Team:

  • Internal communications
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members
  • Work as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
