Amour Recruitment are proud to be working with this awesome company who due to business growth is seeking a HSEQ Lead who will be responsible for leading the Health & Safety and Environmental standard and completing internal audits for them.
Duties will include:
- Collate information to monitor delivery against agreed KPIs and corporate objectives.
- Integrate with departmental heads and work to support local needs and objectives.
- Develop positive and proactive business relationships across the business, and with other stakeholders as required.
- Develop, maintain and update Health & Safety and Environmental policies and processes where required
- Support the development of risk assessments, monitor implementation and identify areas for improvement.
- Support and facilitate delivery of the HSEQ Improvement Programmes across the business
- Coordinate effective proactive and reactive HSEQ communication within the business
To be successful you must have experience in leading Health and Safety in medium/large sized company, managed an environmental standard, be able to Audit and have a recognised internal audit qualification and Excellent knowledge of 9001 & 14001 & 18001 ISO standards. Knowledge of 27001 Standards is also desirable.
You must also be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Excellent people management
- Good time management and prioritising abilities
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office packages
- Able to produce audit reports and scopes using ISO clauses, laws and regulations.
- Confident with interviewing and auditing skills
- Able to liaise with External auditors and build business relationships with them
- Chairing Executive meetings
- Producing reports for members of the board
The role is based in Portsmouth (Monday to Friday 0900-1730) but you must be able to travel to various offices for business needs.
