Amour Recruitment have a great opportunity for a HR Assistant to join a small team within an Employee Ownership Trust company in Cardiff (parking on site).

Salary £17,500 - £18,500

Monday to Friday

The role is to support the department in generalist HR and recruitment duties.  

The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing and have great presentation skills, as you will be required to conduct new starter inductions.  They are looking for an individual who is hard working, but more importantly a team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting with the day to day timely completion of HR processes
  • Accountable for supporting in identifying and implementing improvements in HR processes
  • Responsible for supporting with recruitment processes including  response handling and arranging interviews 
  • Responsible for supporting with, induction including delivery of new starter induction
  • Responsible for the annual Training and Development plan, including liaising with training providers, organisation of training events, maintaining training records on HR systems and collating and evaluating feedback
  • Responsible for supporting and participating in employee wellbeing and engagement activities and strategies
  • Responsible for the administration of the leavers process including arranging exit interviews and other HR processes as required
  • Responsible for the booking of travel and accommodation for employees
  • Responsible for supporting in managing the new starter process, including updating systems, reference and DBS checks  
  • Responsible for supporting with general administration duties, including filing, scanning and photocopying

  • Co-operate with all staff to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and reporting any risks identified, at the company’s or others premises, to the designated Health and Safety Officer.
  • Other duties that may be identified from time to time by the Company.
