Amour Recruitment are working with a well establish groundworks and civil engineering company business who are looking for a highly motivated individual to carry out the role of Health and Safety Assistant within their company. This company work predominantly on house building developments.
Main Duties:
To include, but not be restricted to, the following duties:
• Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Director.
• Assist the Health and Safety Director with Health and Safety monitoring activities.
• Assist in Health and Safety site inspections/audits and produce reports and follow up any actions.
• Provide health and safety support to all our employees.
• Assist the Health and Safety Director to maintain, organise and coordinate health and safety training.
• Assist in the identification of need and preparation of risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments.
• To assist/ carry out site accident investigations and provide a report of the findings. Skills and experience required;
• A NEBOSH qualification.
• CSCS Card preferred.
• Some experience in the construction industry.
• Full clean driving license
• Knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills
