We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Servicing Manager to join them during an exciting period of growth. The Financial Servicing Manager will predominantly work within the Lending function to ensure the Lending Desk carry out all functions in compliance with the business and its client policies, procedures and processes. This is a key technical and managerial role focussed on Lending regulatory adherence and the output of the team. This role interacts with various stakeholders including Team Leaders, Account Managers/Directors, internal teams and external clients requiring a range of communication styles.

The Manager leads a team of Executives, Technical Specialists and Senior Executives in a multi-client/multi-portfolio environment. There will be a focus on maximising team performance through coaching, target setting and measurement of performance outputs against the competency framework.

They will manage activities including, but not limited to;

  • Actively seek out and keep up to date with the latest in Regulatory change within the Lending area.
  • Coaching and supporting all team members
  • Ensuring team members have all access and systems required to complete their role
  • Providing clear Management Information in regards to team performance against client SLAs and KPIs
  • Cash settlements
  • Cash sweeps
  • Daily banking and allocation of funds in
  • Service Desk Management, ensuring timely resolution of all raised queries
  • Managing audits and project deliveries
  • First Line of Defence controls.
  • Identification and assessment of risks to ensure that appropriate controls are implemented and monitored, through process monitoring and reviews
  • Ensure breaches are logged and reported within the relevant timeframes, ensure breaches are being closed in timely manner
  • Working with operation areas to identify business improvement actions, implementing controls and reporting on progress. Ensure procedures accurately reflect controls.



  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within finance servicing
  • Strong background of delivery in dynamic and progressive environment
  • Extensive experience of reconciliations
  • Two years internet banking experience of receipts and payments
  • Demonstrable leadership and people management experience


  • Accountancy qualification - AAT or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret portfolio dynamics and output from data integrity audits
  • Understanding of servicing agreements
  • Experience with system accounting
  • Project Experience
  • Experience in first line of defence and quality management
