Amour Recruitment are currently working with a leading training provider in South Wales, for an Employability Tutor to join their centre in Pontypridd.
Salary £18,000 - £23,000
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Role duties:
- Conduct initial interviews including assessment activities with participants using a range of tools
- To work with groups of participants in a training room environment to develop employability and confidence skills
- Complete and maintain accurate records including the ‘individual employability plan’ to the minimum required standards.
- Deliver sessions which include direct teaching and the use of a variety of teaching strategies/ methodologies to support delivery of both classroom and placement based teaching and assessment.
- Develop and utilise lesson plans for each session incorporating topics relating to whole class teaching, individual, paired, group and differentiated activities
- Provide focused support to those participants who are pre-entry level, vulnerable or may have specific learning needs
- Working closely with the participants’ to identify progression opportunities.
- Completion of all training and participant related documentation and paperwork to ensure correct content and accuracy, including monthly reviews of progress.
- Maintaining good working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Promote the business at every opportunity with all stakeholders including participants and employers.
- To support all administration duties as required including contacting participants who fail to attend sessions or placements to support attendance requirements.
- Work as part of a team to ensure a quality participants experience
- Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice and company’s Code of Conduct
