Amour Recruitment are delighted to be working with an innovative, reputable manufacturer based in the Neath area who are looking to grow their sales function. This client are well established as a market leader having been operating for over 35 years and are now looking for a tenacious, highly motivated individual to help develop sales opportunities for an exciting new division established as recently as 2018. 

The main focus of this role will be to develop and maximise partnerships and relationships within the construction industry, analysing account potential to close sales whilst also being able to recommend and implement new sales strategies to help the new division continue to thrive.

The Role:

  • Grow the company customer base, specifically within the construction industry
  • Develop a high understanding and knowledge of the company products in order to be able to deliver the value proposition to prospective clients
  • Maintain strong client relationships which will allow for effective recommendation of products which will exceed customer expectations and requirements
  • Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the best possible customer experience
  • Understand target markets and develop effective market strategies to target and secure new business
  • Be an ambassador for company vision and products
  • Attend regular customer meetings, networking events, conferences and workshops
  • Attend internal & external training courses to aid personal development and product/industry knowledge

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced, consultative Business Development Manager with a proven track record of B2B and/or C2C sales
  • Field sales experience 
  • Experience of presenting and pitching products to clients
  • Target orientated, driven individual who has a real passion for exceeding customer expectations
  • An effective communicator who is comfortable dealing with clients at all levels
  • Confident and experienced in the use of all MS Office packages

 

This role will involve being both office and field based dependent upon restrictions and customer needs. The salary on offer is £27,000 plus annual company bonus (up to 10% of annual salary).

Hours of work are 0900-1730 Mon-Fri with car parking available on site. There is also 20 days holiday on offer plus bank holidays.
