Amour Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for this local business who due to continued success and growth, are looking for an experienced and ambitious Accountant to head up their Accounts department.
Role responsibilities will include:
- Monthly & Annual preparation of management accounts:
- Continuous management of financial systems.
- Creation and monitoring of budgets.
- Orchestrate weekly pay runs for suppliers.
- Monthly Payroll.
- Cash Flow Management & Drawdown Requests.
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Quarterly Internal Financial Report and KPI’s.
- Monthly Pacing Report Submissions.
- Prepare and liaise for/with auditor requests.
- Review financial systems and procedures.
- Manage and develop the Accounts Assistant.
- Negotiating terms with suppliers
To be successful you must have the following skills/experience:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Knowledge of Xero
- Strong commercial acumen
- Highly numeric/strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy
Salary up to £45,000 DOE + excellent company benefits and bonus scheme, including free parking. Hours 0900-1730 Monday to Friday.
